Makeup
Makeup 1 is a thorough introduction for students who are looking for a solid foundation and education in makeup application and skincare. This 8 week course provides professional instruction as well as supervised, hands-on practical application. Areas of instruction include skincare for face and body, choosing and applying foundation, working with correct tools, designing the perfect eye, highlighting and contouring, makeup for photography and television, the art of lips and cheeks, and much more. Upon completion of Makeup 1, our students will have gained confidence, experience, and skill in makeup application for appropriate day/evening wear and the basics for photographic/television appearances.
- (Ages 12-20, Adult) Some topics include: skincare, product/tools, foundation, all about eyes, contouring, highlighting, photography, lips, cheeks, making it flow and finishing touches with confidence.
Makeup 2 will take the foundation and applications of Makeup 1 and develop skills to create advanced looks at a more precise and deep level. Top looks for fashion, television, photography and theatrical mediums will be covered with lots of hands-on practice. Makeup 2 is a must for those that want to achieve confidence, precision, and advanced application techniques.
- (Ages 12-20, Adult) Some topics include: Looks for television, black/white photography, runway, theatrical, matching vs. not matching blush and lipstick, no makeup look, monochromatic look, colors and putting them together, and much more.
